HOUSTON, Texas – June 2, 2017 – FlexGen® announced today that it successfully installed and commissioned its hybrid power platform to integrate a 250kVA energy storage system within an existing 2.3MW natural gas generator plant at Wawona Frozen Foods in Clovis, CA. The system enables the facility to switch from grid-connected to island mode, enabling the plant to avoid expensive utility demand charges.
