FlexGen ESS to Hybridize 8MW Power Plant in Russia

DURHAM, North Carolina – April 20, 2018. Today FlexGen, the leading supplier of energy storage technology and integration, announced the sale of a FlexGen Energy Storage System (ESS) to Energotechservice, a Russian power plant developer. The project integrates an approximately 8MW power plant comprised of four (4) reciprocating natural generator sets with a 1MW/380kWh FlexGen ESS to deliver clean, reliable power for oilfield exploration and production activities in Russia. The end user of the hybrid power plant is one of Russia’s largest oilfield operators.
